Challenges Complete!

I haven't updated in a while, but as of February 28, I had only gone out to eat (and paid for it) one time in all of February. I went to a movie with some girlfriends and afterward, we found ourselves at a local place in Independence called the Flamingo Lounge. I had a great time, but unfortunately, am not sure exactly how much I spent, as I withdrew $20 from the ATM because I needed cash for the movie! So, I'll chalk up that entire $20 to dining out, although I know it was less than that! (Movie was only $2!)


I also completed all 30 days (all three levels) of Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. However, I did not eat as healthfully as I should have and headed out of town the Friday I finished the Shred, so I didn't even take measurements. I do, however, still feel great -- my biceps and abs can really feel the difference! Can they really "see" the difference, eh, not sure.

So now I'm claiming the ol' fallback "Starting this Monday" -- I have got 20 lbs to lose (would love 30!) and need to get on track! 


This is my next challenge! I will report back each weekend after my Saturday weigh-ins and you can watch with me how these pounds fall off!


The plan:
Exercise - either or both of running and 30 Day Shred workouts - LOVED level 3!
Eating - This needs to be 80% of the losing weight effort, so I'm starting with a simple "cleanse" this first week -- fruits, veggies, peanut butter toast and broccoli rice steamers!



I'll check back in next Saturday with pounds dropped!
